Miu Miu Literary Club

One of Milan’s oldest cultural institutions, Circolo Filologico Milanese hosts the Miu Miu Literary Club for the third consecutive year, providing a vibrant meeting place where reading, conversation, and gathering evolve into gestures of cultural exchange. Within its historic walls, from April 22nd to 24th 2026, the venue transforms into an open space for dialogue in which individual voices resonate with collective thought, hosting the 2026 edition, ‘Politcs of Desire’.

The book, both tangible object and profound symbol, embodies knowledge, curiosity, and freedom. This edition will feature for the first time a selection of books for consultation and inspiration. This special library will propose access to learning as a means of empowerment, celebrating women’s stories in order to both educate and inspire.

Miu Miu continues to enrich contemporary thought through the power of the written word, encouraging reading and forging connections - nurturing a community of listeners, readers, and thinkers. In an era defined by immediacy, the simple act of reading becomes an invitation to pause, reflect and converse through literature, imagination and ideas.

For 2026, the Literary Club introduces an additional day of programming, open to the public on April 24th, visitors will receive gifted copies of either Annie Ernaux’s A Girl’s Story or Ama Ata Aidoo’s Changes.
