DEORON, a curated group exhibition during Salone del Mobile that transforms the space into an immersive sensory environment animated by sound installations and events. On view, the X Deck, Designed by Arielle Assouline-Lichten, is a dedicated DJ console that brings together nightlife culture, sculptural furniture, and what she describes as “glam minimalism” - an approach that pares form down while embracing high-impact materials such as mirror-finished stainless steel and polished brass. Conceived as both a functional tool and a statement object for the home or a listening room, the piece integrates turntables, mixer, amplifier placement, cable management, and vinyl storage into a single unified structure, drawing on the legacy of mixed-metal designers such as Gabriella Crespi and Willy Rizzo. More than a piece of furniture, the X Deck positions record collections and music-making as part of the architecture of living, turning DJ culture into a polished, immersive domestic experience.
