Vero is the young furniture brand, advocate of a new era of Italian design that believes in the values of informality and transparency. For this year’s Milan Design Week Vero hosts its community in the new store in Via Felice Casati 3, in the heart of Porta Venezia, and inhabits the multifunctional space CONVEY, at Basic Village in Via dell’Aprica 12.

Moving across the city, Vero’s drop 4 is an explosion of colors and creativity. New products and collaborations include: a new Storage Cabinet by a617; Alex Proba’s pop and colorful style is showcased in Campi credenza and Fiore coat hanger; Anton Cabinet’s experimental proportion by Atelier Axo; Cassetta table mirror matched with the set of Bandiera chairs and table by BIG-GAME Studio; Lex Pott’s Cross Section Table and Drop Table and the Equilibrium Shelf by Studio NAVET. The existing collection is the stage for new experimentations with CARA\DAVIDE’s 45 Coffee Table, the scaled Denso mirror by Federica Elmo and new colors and Scoop ceramics by Zaven.

For this year’s Milan Design Week Vero’s store takes up a new setting, to welcome the new pieces, conceiving a space where the products and the environment blend in together. After a year from its first debut and at its second design week, Vero presents many more objects, bringing further its international soul but remaining always true to the essence of design: simple and iconic. The new disposition of the store is coherent with the brand’s intention to offer a home for creatives and people that moves around the design community, creating a warm and domestic environment. Opened on February 16th, Vero store’s volumes and shapes are the reflection of the brand’s intention, which recall the home environment but interpret it by expanding it in a bigger scale and implementing new functions. Two large windows offer passers-by a look within the space completely covered by moquette flooring, an archetype of the home’s entrance and a metaphor of “welcome”. Two custom made structures are instantly visible: a vertical element with a metal-like finish that uses the typical shape of a closet to become an exposition and interactive surface, together with a large multifunctional counter in yellow lacquered wood resembling the kitchen space. The unusual and evolving space set-up reflects the brand’s design intentions, exploring new languages to talk about contemporary living.

Vero’s store has been conceived exactly as a home for the local and international community and it will expand its intention at Convey, where Vero brings its homey feeling. The colorful Credenza by Alex Proba and Studio NAVET’s equilibrium shelf will move dynamically on a platform spaced out by wooden rectangular modules and covered entirely in Besana’s moquette, recalling the welcoming environment of the store. As in Via Felice Casati 3, Vero brings to Convey a setting that invites its community to collaborate, think and share the same passion for design and live the brand’s values.
