On view at SPAZIOVENTO, the exhibition highlights work developed with interdisciplinary partners across Europe and Asia, from Akuto Studio’s intuitive musical instrument created in a luthier’s workshop in Athens and iiode’s sustainably produced LED bulb made with recycling-based processes, to Noelani Rutz’s snow-inspired material collaboration with Tajimi Custom Tiles in Japan, Panter&Tourron’s sculptural aluminium floor lamp developed with Italian lighting company From Lighting, Silvio Rebholz’s biodegradable alternative to single-use cups informed by papermaking traditions in China’s Yunnan province, and a multifunctional mat by Vera Roggli and Filipino designer Julia Villamonte rooted in shared weaving traditions. Shaped by a monochromatic scenography by Gini Moynier with Nicolas Bernklau, the exhibition frames design as a relational practice - one that foregrounds process, shared knowledge, and the connections formed between people through making.
