Paris and Milan have long invited comparison as global capitals of fashion and design, but during Milan Design Week, that dialogue becomes especially visible. In Brera, at the heart of Milan’s creative scene, Le Design Défilé stages that exchange through an exhibition curated by French Living in Motion and designed by Jakob+MacFarlane, bringing together 53 pieces by 28 French designers and design brands. Framed as a choreographed parcours, the project unfolds across four spaces - indoor and outdoor presentations of individual works, a section dedicated to 13 design Maisons and their stories and savoir-faire, and an outdoor café terrace - using the idea of the runway as a connective thread through a spatial narrative shaped by movement, sound, and atmosphere.
