Pierre Marie Giraud is proud to present a new exhibition of works by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye, one of the most esteemed ceramic artists of our time. This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to witness the result of her ongoing artistic journey.
Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye has meticulously handpicked a stunning selection of her newest works, showcasing her continued mastery of the ceramic medium. The exhibition is anchored by a series of pieces that highlight her renowned use of dark blue glazes that are rich and captivating. These works, adorned with fine motifs, evoke a sense of depth and introspection, drawing the viewer into a world where simplicity is infused with profound emotion.
Complementing these are a collection of smaller works in white with light blue hues, dark purple and old rose tones. These pieces accented by fine colored rims, while subtle in their palette, are no less impactful. The careful use of these tones introduces a warmth and intimacy to the collection, inviting a closer, more personal engagement with each piece.
This new body of work demonstrates Ebüzziya Siesbye’s exceptional technical skill. The interplay between the dark blues and the lighter, more delicate hues offers a rich visual experience, where each piece stands as a testament to her enduring dedication to the craft.
