Egg Collective will host Designing Women IV: Eileen Gray’s “House for Two Sculptors" opening for NYCxDesign. Spanning the entirety of Egg Collective’s Tribeca Gallery, the exhibition will fulfill the essential premise of the House for Two Sculptors by creating a staging area for sculptural work. Vignettes inspired by the House for Two Sculptors and Eileen Gray’s aesthetic will be populated with a curated selection of designs by Egg Collective and artworks by sculptors Taylor Kibby and Molly Haynes. Egg Collective will also launch its latest design, "Eileen Mirror," a mirror inspired by the precise geometries and patterns found in Gray’s textile designs. A limited edition exhibition catalog will be available for purchase with proceeds going to Girls Garage, a non-profit design and construction school for girls and gender-expansive youth ages 9-18 working to help change the demographic makeup of the industries that create and author the physical world. The project will also be live digitally on https://www.eggcollective-designingwomen.com.
