Demisch Danant presents Program Oct – Dec 2021 with three exhibitions opening October 28.

Program Oct – Dec 2021 is the latest in an ongoing series of exhibitions curated by Demisch Danant to explore innovation and influences in French post-war design and art of the 1950s through 1970s.

Executive Suite: Henri Lesêtre, Joseph-André Motte, Olivier Mourgue, Roger Fatus, Verre Lumiere, Alain Jacquet

In the 1960s, architects and designers found new territories for experimentation with form and materials, and new outlets for expressing novel modern ambitions.

In a modern corporate office environment, Executive Suite specifically spotlights the period, beginning in the early 1960s, in which architects began collaborating with young designers.

Exhibition highlights include Enghien Desk (c.1968) by Henri Lesêtre and Prestige Low Table (1962) by Joseph-André Motte. The exhibition also features Cranes and Warehouse (1967) by Alain Jacquet from Daniel Varenne’s collection in Geneva.
