You would be taking over a roster of internationally renowned clients and handling all incoming sales requests.
You would provide outstanding customer service and have a deep understanding of our collection and the customization process.
The ideal candidate must be truly passionate about design, interiors and architecture specifically and have a good understanding of the design industry within which we operate.
You must be driven by sales, thrive off interacting with people and truly enjoy nurturing and growing client relationships.
There is huge room for growth in this role and we want someone who is truly excited about the potential of the brand and their role in it. Not only is this role sales but we want someone who has a drive for marketing and seeks opportunities for outreach, events and new client relationships. There is scope for creativity in developing our sales strategies.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the point person for all domestic and international accounts. See orders though from initial inquiry, to quotes, invoices, shipping liaison and client follow up. Manage custom projects with the production team through to delivery and install. You will be the voice of the studio to all external clients and therefore must be warm and enthusiastic with no client request too small to be attended to with care. Answer all incoming calls to the studio and deal with all calls related to product inquiries. Manage basic showroom duties preparing the showroom for client visits and taking clients through the collection upon their arrival. Manage the update of all sales related collateral and product pricing. Lead generation for new for existing clients. Have an understanding or the ability to furnish yourself with the knowledge needed to manage, customs, duties, VAT and global electrical requirements to assist both domestic and international clients. Generate increased sales and build upon some great foundations already in place for you. Conceptualize and manage marketing strategies and be excited about your creative opportunities within this.
SKILLS
Proven sales experience within the interior, furniture or lighting world. Proven marketing skills a plus. Basic knowledge of InDesign, Excel, Google Sheets and Quickbooks a plus but not essential. Friendly email and phone manner. Active participant in the NYC Design, Architecture, or related communities.
