This winter, St. Moritz awakens with fresh momentum, unveiling new openings, curated events and innovative concepts. Its highlights revolve around three pillars — Sports & Wellbeing, Lifestyle & Culinary and Culture — revealing the destination’s full breadth: from exhilarating alpine adventures and contemporary dining to cultural excellence, crafting a seasonal rhythm that delights, inspires and lingers in memory. Here’s how to shape your winter calendar and make the season your own:

Sports & Wellbeing: St. Moritz invites you to a world where alpine tradition, adrenaline and wellbeing converge. On the iconic Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz–Celerina, one can glide through the legendary ice channel while children explore the thrill of winter sports safely with Bob Run Skating Kids, blending heritage with playful adventure. Celebrating a century of excellence, the Suvretta Sports School continues to shape the Engadin with skiing, snowboarding, biking and summer pursuits, fusing tradition with innovation. For moments of calm and renewal, the new Suvretta House Spa offers expansive treatments framed by soaring alpine vistas, while the Image Regenerative Clinic pioneers longevity, prevention and aesthetic medicine, reaffirming St. Moritz as a sanctuary of regeneration. For the daring, ice bathing returns to the frozen lake — a revitalising ritual uniting sport, wellbeing and alpine heritage. From exhilarating runs to restorative retreats, St. Moritz choreographs a winter rhythm where energy, culture and rejuvenation meet, inviting every visitor to experience the season not just as a holiday, but as an artful immersion in alpine life.

Lifestyle & Culinary: St. Moritz reveals its lifestyle and culinary scene as a refined expression of alpine elegance, social energy and creative momentum. At its heart, the frozen Lake St. Moritz once again becomes an open-air stage — animated by ice bathing, skating, pop-ups and a central guest relations point — while its legendary spectacles, Snow Polo St. Moritz, The ICE and the three White Turf race weekends, continue to shape the destination’s international identity. February introduces a contemporary note with St. Moritz Cocktail Week (13–16 February 2025), as leading international mixologists take over more than 20 curated venues, celebrating modern cocktail culture through quality spirits, responsible enjoyment and regional collaboration. New openings reinforce this forward rhythm: Villa Beaulieu debuts as a creative meeting place for gastronomy, culture and exchange, while Hotel Laudinella reopens with new restaurant concepts, serviced apartments and a rooftop spa framed by sweeping alpine views. Chalet Salastrains adds a charming interim chapter, welcoming one to a temporary alpine chalet that preserves warmth, familiarity and tradition during renovation.

Across, culinary excellence unfolds through a dynamic constellation of collaborations and concepts. At Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, Boragó arrives from 18 February to 1 March, as chef Rodolfo Guzmán presents a nature-driven tasting menu inspired by Patagonia, while Bar Leone (12–22 February) brings Italian dolce vita at Paradiso Music Deck by day to the Polo Bar by night. At the Carlton Hotel, Da Vittorio St. Moritz reveals a refreshed interior by Carlo Rampazzi, enhancing its two-Michelin-star Italian fine dining. La Baracca St. Moritz reopened on 26 December as a lively social hub, while the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski introduces Neora, the Engadin’s first modern Greek restaurant, alongside Crazy Pizza’s high-energy dining. Terra Haōma welcomes Green Star–awarded chef Deepanker Khosla’s Neo-Indian cuisine, Samigo Fuel 7500 returns with the Japanese-Peruvian La Muña and new arrivals include OOKI Ramen Bar and Ya Mama by Moses Ceylan. Art and design complete the season — from Pietro Terzini at Grace La Margna to Carsten Höller at Kulm Hotel — while Maison Mytheresa transforms Via Serlas into an immersive lifestyle space until 6 April.

Culture: St. Moritz’s winter season unfolds as a refined cultural constellation, where art, design and music engage in quiet dialogue with the alpine landscape. From 12 to 15 February 2026, the winter edition of NOMAD Circle returns for its ninth Swiss chapter at the newly renovated Villa Beaulieu, convening international galleries, curators and collectors around architecture, nature and design, a conversation that continues with MAZE Art St. Moritz from 26 February to 1 March 2026 at Hotel Reine Victoria, uniting modern and contemporary art, collectible design and visual culture while remaining rooted in the Engadin’s identity. Galleries set the rhythm of the season: Galerie von Opel, with Galerie Andrea Caratsch, presents Allegro by Rolf Sachs from 20 December 2025 to 14 March 2026, vernissage 29 December (6–8 pm), unveiling new works, sculptural objects and signature furniture shaped by his dynamic, multidisciplinary practice, while Hauser & Wirth St. Moritz presents Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home from 13 December 2025 to 28 March 2026, curated by Tobia Bezzola, pairing intimate portraits of the artist’s closest circle with the alpine landscapes of Bergell. Completing the season, the Engadin Festival – Piano Days unfolds from December 2025 to March 2026, with monthly performances by leading international pianists at Suvretta House and Hotel Laudinella, offering classical culture in its most distilled, intimate form.
