Harmoniously weaved with history and love - Le Lappe narrates a story that began around 1000 AD. From an ancient watchtower to a convent and later - in the 1800’s - to a private residence, its legacy is timeless. The second building was a gift from the owner to the woman he cherished, an eternal symbol of their bond. It was then in the 1990’s that the current owners began restoring Le Lappe. Breathing new life into the estate while respecting tradition, it was completed in 2010 preserving its authentic charm. “My favourite part, undeniably, was seeing my vision come to life one space at a time and having my son be a part of the process at a young age - he picked out a black wardrobe, for instance, for the I Pini suite when he was just 14 and it fit in perfectly with the character of the room!” shares the owner Maria Lorenza Benini, fondly.

Staying at Le Lappe today is an experience of continuous wonder, with eclectic design features and attention to intricate detailing in each and every corner.
