Officine Universelle Buly:
Reimagined for today, Officine Universelle Buly is a Parisian beauty house that bridges historical savoir-faire with contemporary craft and design. Revived in 2014 by Victoire de Taillac and Ramdane Touhami, the brand draws inspiration from the legacy of 19th-century perfumer Jean-Vincent Bully while remaining firmly rooted in the present through modern formulations, natural ingredients and meticulous French laboratory production. Buly’s skincare, perfumes and iconic vinegars reinterpret ancient recipes with current cosmetic science, offering intimate, bespoke rituals defined by time, care and sensory pleasure. Today, Buly’s apothecary-style stores span cities from Paris to Tokyo, each uniquely designed to reflect its locale while evoking the elegance of 19th-century French pharmacy officines. Inside, a warm and lively atmosphere is shaped by attentive assistants who will personalise each purchase for you with elegant calligraphy and wrap every gift using the origata technique — the Japanese art of wrapping — creating a final gesture that is unique, precious and unmistakably Buly.

Ortigia Sicilia:
Ortigia Sicilia, founded in Sicily by Sue Townsend, is an Italian soap and fragrance house that celebrates the colour, scent, warmth and layered history of the island in sensorial form. Drawing inspiration from Sicily’s dramatic landscapes and cultural richness — from the baroque façades of Ortigia island to the volcanic soil of Mount Etna — this brand creates soaps, creams, perfumes, candles and home objects using natural ingredients indigenous to the region. Olive oil, vegetable glycerine and organic colours form the base of each formulation, free from parabens, SLS, nickel and silicone and never tested on animals. Perfumes are distilled from Sicilian flowers by master perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi, while the wider range spans bath and body care, hair care, shaving essentials, candles, diffusers and decorative homeware crafted by small family producers. Packaging, designed by Townsend herself, reflects Sicily’s exotic palette and historic motifs — transforming everyday rituals into objects of beauty, memory and place.
