Garden Futures: Designing with Nature

Gardens reflect identities, dreams, and visions; they are deeply rooted in our culture. If recent years have seen something of a garden revival, however, the focus has been less on romantic idylls than on social justice, climate change, biodiversity – on a sustainable future and a balanced relationship between humankind and nature. The exhibition »Garden Futures« at the Vitra Design Museum will be the first to explore the history and future of garden design within this context.
