Prouvé/Arad : Masters of Metal

The exhibition Prouvé / Arad – Masters of Metal, presented from November 14 to December 14, 2024 at the Laffanour | Galerie Downtown, highlights the dialogue between two design masters, Jean Prouvé and Ron Arad. Jean Prouvé, a pioneer of industrial design, reinvented the use of metal through functional and modular pieces, while contemporary figure Ron Arad explores the sculptural and expressive dimensions of this material. Through this encounter, the exhibition reveals how metal, oscillating between rigor and fluidity, can become a vector of innovation, merging aesthetics and functionality to transcend the boundaries of art and design.
