This is Matthew's first gallery space, showcasing his newest collection, more than 120 works, made of stone, metal, and cotton cord that took over 6 months to complete.
With sustainability in mind, his smaller works are created from remnants of larger slabs. Mathew uses the leftover marble and excess material to create stunning lighting, vessels and tabletop.
The gallery is located at 106 South Street. It joins a revitalized neighborhood of freshly laid cobblestones and Revolutionary-era streetscapes. The infusion of entertainment at Pier 17 and the culinary elegance of the Tin Building by Jean Georges have brought renewed attention to this corner of Manhattan. Matthew's new gallery is right in the center of it.

About
Matthew Fisher
Beginning his process of design embedded in the anthropological study of ancient cultures, Matthew Fisher is able to distill modern designs that convey an ambiguity of time and place. This approach has become a central theme in Fisher’s repertoire of work and the purposeful medium of metamorphic stone he chooses to craft with.
