From May 1st – 23rd, 3.1 AAPI Heritage Month and NYCxDesign Week, Phillip Lim will present an art exhibition in their Great Jones Street location, titled Crafting Selfhood, featuring thirteen Asian American female identifying artists and designers. Co-curated by Lora Appleton and Karen Wong, Crafting Selfhood assembles a myriad of ceramic and sculptural works by these incredibly talented artists, opening a dialogue on how form, technique and medium illuminate the creative process as these artists integrate heritage, identity, and, oftentimes, sly humor, into their work.
