Greek designer and artist Harry Rigalo (Athens, 1984) presents Forms Without Briefs, his first solo exhibition, hosted by The Great Design Disaster — the new and irreverent space on Via della Moscova, founded by Joy Herro. A self-taught creative, in Forms Without Briefs, Rigalo explores what happens when design lets go of function yet retains the sensitivity of materials: chairs, bowls, and hybrid forms transform into contemporary relics, suspended between the useful and the poetic. The exhibition invites viewers to slow down their gaze and listen to the silent language of matter, opening a reflection on the relationship between form, necessity, and desire.

About
The Great Design Disaster
The Great Design Disaster (TGDD) was founded in 2019 as a project dedicated to creating custom pieces through collaborations between collectors and artisans. From the beginning, TGDD was never just about objects—it was about the stories they carry, the craftsmanship that shapes them, and the history that breathes life into design. For years, TGDD thrived as a nomadic project, moving between different locations, exhibitions, and collaborations, always driven by a passion for discovery, reinvention, and creative expression. In 2025, TGDD entered its next chapter, transitioning from a fluid and ever-evolving project into a permanent space in Milan. The chosen location, a historic shop on Via della Moscova, had been home to Moscova Libri e Robe, a beloved antique store for over 40 years. This remarkable space was run by Raffaella "Dilva" Zandonella, a Milanese antique dealer and fashion historian whose dedication to rare objects and historical fashion made her shop a true destination for collectors and enthusiasts. More than just a storefront, it was a hidden treasure trove of stories and discoveries, where past and present intertwined. When the time came for its transition, TGDD embraced the opportunity to carry forward its spirit while reinterpreting it for a new era.
