SOFT HORIZONS is an exploration of material memory and transformation, set within the ethereal space of a greenhouse. Fragments of Greek marble, reshaped and reassembled, float with unexpected lightness, gently shifting in response to human presence. Suspended above, a radiant disc echoes distant landscapes, connecting the installation to the marble’s origin. From water, the marble recalls its geological journey—dissolution, crystallization, and rebirth—mirroring both natural processes and craftsmanship. This is not a monument to permanence, but a meditation on becoming, where discarded remnants transform into dynamic forms. SOFT HORIZONS invites an intimate dialogue with motion, memory, and materiality, revealing Greek marble as something alive—capable of change, reflection, and resonance. This is an initiative celebrating Greek marble. This installation is created by Objects of Common Interest and is supported by Enterprise Greece as part of its strategic initiative to promote Greek marble internationally.
