FORMA Design Fair Madrid is an international fair dedicated to collectible design. Organized by Madrid Design Festival in collaboration with the Madrid City Council’s Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, the fair will take place from March 5–8 at Nave Una in Matadero Madrid and at DIMAD’s Central de Diseño, also located within the Matadero complex. Its aim is to stimulate and energize the design market by creating a space where key players in the field can forge international connections.
2027 dates to be announced
At the heart of this mission is a distinctive design experience that emphasizes the value of design as something collectible. Positioned between the contemporary and the functional, collectible design encompasses limited editions and unique pieces created not only for practical use, but also for aesthetic appreciation. It moves beyond the idea of product, incorporating exceptional materials and techniques to become a field of experimentation with its own narrative.
FORMA Design Fair Madrid will bring together around thirty national and international participants, presenting a curated selection of signature pieces, including new releases and limited editions. Directed by Álvaro Matías, FORMA is geared toward design professionals and features presentations from galleries, studios, design publishers, specialized shops, and designers. Together, they share a common aim: to position design as a cross-disciplinary field, accessible to both visitors and collectors through a direct and immersive experience.
