Designers Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, founders of the first female-run design studio in Tbilisi, draw on Georgian heritage to create their distinctive contemporary design language. Rooms merges ancient, medieval, and late Soviet motifs with Western European influences, reinterpreted through natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal. The exhibition reflects their exploration of ethnography, mythology, and modernist traditions, forging a renewed Georgian design identity. Hand-crafted and culturally rooted, their work balances tradition with modernity, offering a richly textured visual and material language that is both authentic and forward-looking, embodying a deep connection to place and history.
