Messukeskus
The Finnish Fair Corporation was founded on 19 October 1919. The first fair was held in the summer of 1920 in the centre of Helsinki, attracting 120,000 visitors – more than the city’s population at that time. The present-day Messukeskus in the vicinity of the centre, in the Pasila district, was completed in 1975. Since then, the facilities have been expanded and modernised several times. Today, Messukeskus is an international venue for exhibitions, meetings, congresses and other events.
