The Mexico and Los Angeles-based design studio ATRA presents a thought-provoking conceptual installation ECHO, inviting visitors into a post-human world where nature reclaims the remnants of human existence. This immersive experience is both a visual meditation on decay and renewal and a provocative commentary on humanity’s fleeting impact on the Earth. While dystopian in tone, the space is alive—the rumbling of the earth is felt, the energy of the Sun is harnessed, and the persistent hum of life resonates through the ruins, awakening the senses. A silent question lingers: “What will we leave behind...? ATRA presents sculptural forms embodying nature’s cyclical essence. These futuristic relics and ancient-inspired artifacts reflect decay, renewal, and how nature reclaims what humanity has forgotten.

Carpenters Workshop Gallery is pleased to participate in the second edition of Unique Design X in Mexico City. With a focus on producing and exhibiting the work of international artists, designers, and architects that explore and define the boundaries where art and design meet such as Vicenzo De Cotiis, Ingrid Donat, Maarten Baas, Rick Owens and Nacho Carbonell. The gallery was founded in the partnership of childhood friends, Julien Lombrail and Loic Le Gaillard and since its opening in 2006, it has expanded to operate four galleries worldwide, in London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. The gallery’s recent development and opening of the expansive West London arts hub, Ladbroke Hall, home to its London gallery, has solidified the pioneering role of Carpenters Workshop Gallery in today’s international territory of art and design and their intersectionality.

From Paris, Studio Pauline Leprince will showcase a remarkable selection of the interior designer’s latest work of large-scale sculptural furniture pieces, “Prima Lien,” defined by radical lines and a meticulous selection of materials. Driven by an avant-garde spirit, Leprince draws her inspiration from the Bauhaus movement, the boldness of 1990s design, and the purity of minimal art. Leprince’s creations extend beyond functional design, often blurring the lines between art, architecture, and storytelling. Among her notable achievements, she reimagined the Parisian reception apartment of Karl Lagerfeld, transforming it into a forward-looking homage to the legendary designer.

Almine Rech, Paris and Unno Gallery, Mexico City, join forces to present a solo show by the multidisciplinary Parisian artist Garance Vallée. "Best known for her total work - merging the territories of architecture, art and design to explore new relationships between body, space and objects, as well as their connection with domesticity, everyday life and intimacy - French artist Vallée constantly seeks to rethink the place of humankind in its environment and its reconciliation with nature. With a casual dexterity that is the hallmark of her unashamedly eclectic generation, unfettered by the rules of architectural design, she deploys every dimension of a holistic decompartmentalized universe. Like so many clues unfolding in space, her paintings resemble architectural renderings, their deliberately truncated perspectives overflowing into reality. In advancing her patterns of ambiguousness between painting and installation, real and digital, inside and out, Vallée wilfully straddles the chasm of today’s digital world, somewhere between physical and virtual spaces." - Jérôme Sans, critic and curator

Esteban Tamayo, a multidisciplinary Mexican artist and designer celebrated for his unique approach to industrial and fashion design, will debut his first step into collectible design with his most recent series, “Under the Sun,” as a nostalgic homage to our hope for the environment. Tamayo’s work is deeply rooted in exploring the intersection of heritage and modernity. His creations often reflect the vibrant urban landscapes and cultural narratives of Mexico, blending cutting-edge techniques with timeless aesthetics.
